Jude Bellingham, the Stourbridge-born football hero for England, took time out of his hectic schedule to visit with aspiring athletes at a local football academy.

On Wednesday, September 13, at the McDonald’s fun football sessions held by Kixx Stourbridge football academy on the Lea Vale playing fields in Norton, Real Madrid midfielder Jude, who formerly played for Stourbridge Juniors before joining Birmingham City as a young player, visited with young players and their parents.

Following three years at Borussia Dortmund in Germany, Bellingham signed a deal with Real Madrid in June and became well-known very soon. He opened the scoring in England’s exciting opening World Cup match in Qatar in 2022 against Iran.

He later moved to Real Madrid, where he plans to play among some of the greatest football players of all time, as a result of his exceptional accomplishments.

The 20-year-old Bellingham is also an ambassador for McDonald’s Fun Football, the largest grassroots initiative for children in the UK between the ages of five and eleven. By the time Bellingham turns 25, he should be captain of England.

He visited his former hometown as part of his employment, and there, his achievements are commemorated with a large painting on the side of the Ryemarket shopping center.

Kixx Stourbridge shared a Facebook post about the occasion with the caption, “Wow! What a wonderful encounter!

Jude Bellingham came to Stourbridge to take part in a kid-friendly football game as part of the local McDonald’s fun football program, which gets underway this weekend.

He even had meetings with a few of our Kixx stars. I wonder whether some of the parents or the coaches were happier than the youngsters!

“How kind he was, finding time in what must have been an incredibly busy schedule for everyone.”

Archie-James Smith, a student at Hob Green Primary School, was one of the young athletes who got to meet the legendary player.

The football-mad six-year-old from Amblecote was overjoyed to meet his hero.

According to a McDonald’s handout, Jude Bellingham is an ambassador for the McDonald’s Fun Football program.
