Home field advantage and the high performance of the stars helped Poland play a jubilant match against Estonia in the play-off semi-finals of EURO 2024 qualifying.

In the 50th minute, midfielder Zielinski doubled the gap for the “White Eagles”. From here on, a feast of goals was created by the home team with a total of 5 goals for Poland. For their part, Estonia only scored 1 honorable goal thanks to Vetkal in the 78th minute. Winning Estonia 5-1, Poland registered for the play-off final, facing Wales.

Sharing with Rai Sport, the Arsenal midfielder had a lot of praise for the Italian team’s opponents today.

Even though Italy is highly rated as an opponent in all aspects, Italy still had to struggle to defeat Venezuela in the friendly match that just ended a few hours ago. The performance of the South American representative was also highly appreciated by Jorginho .

Jorginho only came on the field in the second half of the match against Venezuela.

Sharing with Rai Sport, he said: “ It was a difficult match. Many people have underestimated Venezuela but they have only lost once in their last ten matches. They only conceded once per match and you can see they are well organized tactically and aggressively .”

“They have experienced players. They know how to play, when they have to fall and how. They know when to provoke to gain an advantage. They did it very well and if someone expected an easy match they were wrong because we knew it would be difficult .”

Jorginho highly appreciated the performance of the South American representative.

Even though they won, this result certainly cannot make Italian fans  feel secure, in the context of EURO 2024 approaching.
