During an international friendly at Wembley Stadium, Brazil defeated England 1-0. Endrick, 17, scored the game’s lone goal after substituting in. Following the final siren, Bellingham, an English player, hurried over to the Brazil bench to give club teammates Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo a hug. He even greeted the teenager who would become Endrick of Los Blancos, giving him a friendly slap before giving him an embrace, probably in joke for his last-minute winner.
Future Los Blancos player Endrick became the youngest male football player to score at Wembley Stadium in club and international competition when he was 17 years and 246 days old. After Pele, Edu, and Ronaldo, he is the fourth-youngest goal scorer in Selecao history.
Before facing Belgium on Tuesday, the former Dortmund player will play one more game for the Three Lions before meeting the Brazilian great at Santiago Bernabeu. Harry Kane, the captain, will not be joining him, though, after Gareth Southgate announced his withdrawal due to an ankle injury.
