ARSENAL have been dealt a huge injury blow after Bukayo Saka was forced off against Manchester City.

The winger went down during the second half and was unable to continue.

Saka missed England’s games against Brazil and Belgium as he was carrying a knock.

But Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta deemed him fit enough to start at The Etihad.

However his match was cut short in the 78th minute as Saka went down clutching his leg after clash with Gvardiol

Fortunately for Arsenal it was nothing serious as Arteta confirmed Saka was taken off with fatigue.

He said after the game: “He just went out today with fatigue, nothing serious.”

Saka has only missed one Premier League match so far this year, which was, curiously, the matchup at home against City.

Saka has to rush to be ready for Arsenal’s next game, which is on Wednesday against Luton.

After that, Mikel Arteta’s team plays six games in seventeen days, beginning with the Hatters’ visit.

Arsenal’s quarterfinal Champions League match against Bayern Munich is part of the run.

Saka’s injury, fortunately, did not have a significant effect on the Gunners, as they managed to hold out for a 0-0 draw against the champs.
