LEANDRO Trossard rubbed salt into the wounds of Brighton fans by netting in Arsenal’s 3-0 win over Brighton.

The Belgium winger came off the bench to cooly finish a one-on-one, as the Gunners marched back to the top of the Premier League.

After scoring, he stood with his arms aloft in front of the Arsenal fans with a wry smile on his face, before kissing the badge on his shirt.

Trossard could have been taken aback by the welcome he got from the Amex Stadium’s home crowd.

The forward replaced Gabriel Jesus in the second half.

And some people did not think he was forgiven for abandoning the Seagulls, as he was loudly jeered when he walked onto the field.

Fans of Arsenal were quick to point out Trossard’s salute to the departing supporters.

One wrote: “I love that Trossard celebrated.”

A third shared: “Trossard actually celebrated, this guyyy.”

Mikel Arteta’s side roared to the top of the Premier League with a comfortable win over Brighton.

A Bukayo Saka penalty in the first half set the Gunners on their way.

Kai Havertz added a second with a close finish, following a cross from Jorginho.

Trossard added gloss on proceedings with four minutes left on the clock.
