DAVID DE GEA went to see Bruno Fernandes, a star for Manchester United, and made fun of their former colleague.

After spending 12 years at Old Trafford, the unemployed goalkeeper’s contract expired last summer, leaving him without a club.

De Gea spent time with his old friend Fernandes while he was back in Manchester.

The Spaniard put his hand around the Red Devils skipper as the two sat with their arms crossed, posing for pictures.

The images were shared on social media by De Gea, who wrote the phrase, “Dumb and Dumber.”

With a funny remark, Fernandes said, “Is missing the biggest dumbest Juan Mata.”

After being called out, the former midfielder for Chelsea and Manchester United continued the fun by responding with a GIF from the Dumb and Dumber film.

According to rumors, De Gea has received approaches from Saudi Arabian clubs, Barcelona, and Nottingham Forest regarding a return to football.

Nevertheless, the 33-year-old is still a free agent because none of these plans have come to fruition.

De Gea has been having fun during his time off the field. He has been traveling with his 3-year-old daughter Yanay and 38-year-old wife and singer Edurne.

Additionally, he has sometimes gone out with his former Man Utd teammates.

De Gea had supper with Fernandes, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, and Tom Heaton back in October.
