Did you need any more reasons to go to Nando’s? Even though it seems unlikely, Nando’s is one of the most beloved institutions in this country. It’s as British as fish and chips and a wet springtime these days. But now, the famous PERi-PERi chain has tried to get even closer to our hearts by releasing a sauce made in partnership with Bukayo Saka, an equally beloved England and Arsenal football player.

The sauce, which is called the PERi-PERi Saka Sauce, blends Saka’s favorite tastes with Nando’s famous heat. It’s made of tomato, garlic, and smoked paprika, and Nando’s says it’s “sweet and fiery.” It rates about the same as “medium” on the PERi-meter.

Saka said, “The sauce has a sweet, spicy, and smokey taste.” I really enjoy it and can’t wait for everyone to try it. Since I was a kid, I’ve been going to Nando’s. It’s crazy that my PERI-PERI sauce is now in every place in the country! It’s important to me that my family likes it, so I made sure they did. I knew it was the one when my dad said he was a fan.

In honor of the release of the PERi-PERi Saka Sauce, the Nando’s in Holloway, north London (near Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium), will be giving away prizes and holding a number of events.
