PUMA has announced a new, long-term partnership with Arsenal player and German international Kai Havertz. Havertz will wear the Future silo as part of the partnership.
Kai Havertz has gone through a lot of change in the last few months. The German player went from Chelsea to Arsenal and now lives in North London. He was also seen working out in dark PUMA Future Ultimate shoes, which made it look like his time with Nike was coming to an end and that he probably wouldn’t be renewing his contract. As of September, he was wearing an all-red pair to games, which pretty much proved it. But PUMA has now made the deal public for a long time.
From now on, Havertz will likely wear the “Gear Up” pack, but he will still wear the Future Ultimate.
Havertz talked about the new partnership by saying, “When I was growing up in Germany, PUMA was always an iconic brand, and some of the best players ever wore their gear.” With its football boots and the way it works with players, PUMA has always been ahead of the curve. After meeting with the team and talking about our plans for the future, I knew this was the right place for me. It really is like a family, and they want to work together with their players. They really know a lot about sports.
“There is no other boot like the FUTURE boot. It fits my style of play perfectly, and I couldn’t wait to switch to it.” In addition to being a popular name on the field, PUMA is also making waves in the fashion and sports worlds. We’re working on a lot of interesting projects right now, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
Johan Adamsson, PUMA’s Global Director of Sports Marketing and Sports Licensing, said, “We’re thrilled to have Kai join our family and start the next part of his career with us.” Kai has already done a lot of things. Because of his great traits and positive attitude, we are sure that he will continue to lead both his club team and the national team for many years to come. He is a great player with big goals for himself and the team. We’re looking forward to working together on some really cool projects.
