Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is a target for Wolves, who may look to sell current number one Jose Sa to a Saudi Arabian club

ARSENAL outcast Aaron Ramsdale is being lined up for a shock move to Wolves.

That’s with the Midlands club set to sell keeper Jose Sa after continued interest from Saudi Arabia.

Agent Jorge Mendes, who is close to the Middle East’s transfer power brokers, may accompany the 31-year-old Portuguese star Sa there.

Wolves may bench Sa before the season is out in search of replacements.

They have Anthony Patterson of Sunderland and Caoimhin Kelleher, Liverpool’s backup, and Arsenal’s No. 2 Ramsdale on their desire list.

In the event that Wolves try to trade for any of them, Saudi Arabia will have to pay a hefty premium for Sa.

However, Sam Johnstone, the number one player for Crystal Palace, is a doubtful target in the summer window due to an elbow injury.

Ramsdale has made just six Premier League appearances for Arsenal this season, and he might be prepared to go.

When David Raya arrived last summer on loan from Brentford, Mikel Arteta dropped him.

At the completion of the current campaign, the Spaniard’s contract will become permanent.

And if he does not move on, Ramsdale will have to sit out another season.

Kelleher has played a significant role in Liverpool’s season thus far.

The Irishman has made 26 appearances across all competitions, which is more than the sum of his previous Anfield seasons.

But Alisson’s injury problems have been the main cause of the majority of those.
