GIVEN THE BOOT: Declan Rice received gift from Frank Lampard on the occasion of his 50th appearance for England

To honor Declan Rice’s 50th England cap, Frank Lampard gave him a unique pair of boots.

The player for Arsenal was made captain of the Three Lions when he reached the milestone against Belgium.

Rice made his England debut in 2019 and hasn’t missed many games since then. During this international break, he played all 90 minutes against both Brazil and Belgium.

He was given a unique pair of white Adidas Copa boots by Lampard before the game against Manchester United. One had a blue print on it, and the other had a red one.

At Rice’s 50th birthday, the boots also have the St. George’s flag and the number 50 on them.

Lampard praised Rice, 25, for what he did when he wore the shoes in England’s 2-2 draw with Belgium on Tuesday.

This former England star said, “Declan shouldn’t take this accomplishment for granted.”

“Every kid who plays football as a kid dreams of playing for their country, so getting 50 caps is a big deal.”

“I am excited to see what the summer brings for him and this young team going into the Euros.”

“It is a huge accomplishment for me to reach this milestone,” Rice agreed.

People who know me well know how important it is for me to play for my country, so getting 50 caps is really cool.” To mark the event, I can’t wait to wear my new boots on the field.

Rice is a leader for both his club and his country, and he said he would try to get Gunners teammate Ben White to play for England again.

“It’s Ben’s life,” Rice said after White turned down a call-up. Ben has made up his mind. We can’t change his mind about what he wants to do.

“Of course, people will always be writing things and expressing their views.

“But what he thinks is the only thing that matters in the end, and right now it’s clear that he doesn’t want to play for England.”

“He will do anything to win on the football field, and I think he can also play center back and right back, or “inverted full-back,” for England. He’s now a very important tool we could have.

“I hope he changes his mind.” It’s clear that he doesn’t want that right now. I believe that is his choice.

“I know that he and Gareth talked about it behind closed doors.” I don’t know much about the details, but I hope he changes his mind.
