Harry put together a box of United goodies with the football-mad River, including a shirt he personally signed. They did a kickaround as well. They talked about all things sports and traded free kicks.

On Twitter, Maguire posted a video of their time together along with the words, “Absolute pleasure to meet this legend.” An amazing discussion and even better kickaround. Warm regards, River. Stay tenacious!

We simply wanted to say thank you for coming today. Ryan, River’s father, posted on social media, saying, “Harry and his family are really, really nice, caring and loving people.” For River, they have surpassed all expectations.

Earlier this month, Cristiano shared a photo of his meeting with River with his fans, accompanied by an emotional text describing the experience.

River then had a kickabout with Maguire, impressing the Red Devils skipper

“Children ought to always be safeguarded as they are the most precious gift the world can offer. Football fans are the best, and they always will be, and we should be grateful for everything they sacrifice for their clubs.

“River, it’s a pleasure to meet you. You’re a young man full of motivation who is fighting “ill” and winning,” Jesse also posted on social media. Continue to be strong and never give up.
