Arsenal star Kai Havertz jokes he is ‘the biggest Tottenham fan EVER’ as the Gunners hope to get some favor from their opponents against title challengers Man City

He joked that when Tottenham plays Manchester City, he will be the “biggest fan of Tottenham ever.”

The team led by Mikel Arteta kept up their great play by beating Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford. 

With the win, the Gunners went back to the top of the table, ahead of Manchester City, who have a game in hand against Tottenham on Tuesday.

Havertz said that he and his teammates will back Ange Postecoglou’s team so that their team can win the Premier League title next Sunday if Tottenham wins or ties with Manchester City. 

“On Tuesday, I’ll be the biggest Tottenham fan ever.” He told Sky Sports, “We’re all going to be, so let’s hope for the best.”

If the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium ends in a tie, Arsenal will still be in first place in the table because they have three more goals than Pep Guardiola’s team.

If Tottenham wins, Arsenal will still be in charge of their own fate until the end of the season.

Leandro Trossard’s 12th league goal of the season made the difference at Old Trafford. 

Casemiro started in the middle of defense again because Manchester United has so many injuries. He missed a chance to play Havertz offside, which let the former Chelsea star set up Trossard for the game-winning goal.
