Inside Wayne Rooney’s £20 Million ‘Morrisons Mansion’: A Football Field, Fishing Lakes, Cinema, and Swimming Pool Await

Wayne Rooney and his family are planning a return to England. For £20 million, he purchased his “Morrisons mansion,” which has a full-sized football field, two lakes for fishing, a pool, and a movie theater. He intends to live there.

The well-known former Manchester United and England player was just named manager of Birmingham City. Upon John Eustace’s dismissal, he took over as St Andrews’ leader.

In 2021, the Rooney family at last moved into their dream house, courtesy by Wayne, Coleen, and everyone else.

Their £20 million Cheshire estate was known as the “Morrisons mansion” when it was being built.

This home sits on forty acres and has a movie theater, two lakes for fishing, and a swimming pool.

It’s rumored that Rooney paid a Cheshire real estate developer about £4 million to build the stronghold (!).

Kai, Klay, Kit, and Cass, the couple’s four kids, together with his spouse Coleen, continued to reside in England to be with their mother. He was living in Washington with his coaching staff.

His family will be there to support him endlessly when he joins the Blues, who are sponsored by Tom Brady, and moves back home to live with them in their elegant Cheshire estate.

Landowners Rooney and Coleen are both 37 years old. Florida and the Caribbean are two of their many UK residences.

The cherry on top is their twenty million pound, six-bedroom house set on forty acres of property.

After building it from the bottom up, the family moved in December 2021.

There are rumors that High Lake Manor is in the county of Cheshire.

It is possible to think of Rooney and his friend as the lord and mistress of the mansion.

As previously stated, the land was extended to make room for a full-size football field that was built, furnished with seats, by United’s all-time top scorer.

The five-a-side pitch has showers in its changing rooms, but because his house is far away, he was unable to install floodlights.

In addition, he owns two man-made lakes where he goes fishing, a movie theater, a garage for his cars, and a swimming pool.

Rooney is reportedly an enthusiastic fisherman.

The house’s neighbors made fun of it for a long time by equating its size and shape with a Morrisons store.

Currently housing a wine shop, movie theater, snooker room, bar, orangery, and television room, it was formerly a Morrisons.

There’s a large indoor pool surrounded by a glass pavilion, a steam room, separate “his” and “hers” changing rooms, and a hot tub at Rooney’s opulent estate.

It also has an expansive terrace, immaculately kept grounds, and a garage big enough for luxury cars.

The house has separate elevators and a guest bathroom. It’s thought that Rooney paid almost £4 million to a Cheshire real estate developer to have it built.

The lower floor, which has a huge entertainment room, pool, Jacuzzi, and theater, is accessible via a separate elevator.

In 2016, robbers tried to break into Rooney’s Cheshire home just as the cops were pulling up. They made the decision to build the home of their dreams as a result.

But the former striker spent his early years hanging around at a watering hole in Liverpool. He obviously has a knack for real estate, as seen by the £25,000 a week he charges for the rental of his massive Barbados property.

He paid a hefty price in 2007. He gave his parents a detached home in Liverpool for £450,000 and a condo on the beach in Florida for £320,000.

They are currently rumored to be worth around £115 million. He first met Coleen when they were 16 years old. They own mansions all across the globe.

Rooney moved quickly up the ranks at his former club, Everton, and then signed a lucrative contract to join Manchester United. He also gave an excellent performance for England in Euro 2004.

He won five Champions League and Premier League championships while being coached by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Rooney broke Sir Bobby Charlton’s record in terms of goals scored for both United and England. Although Charlton is no longer the record holder, Harry Kane is still ahead for both clubs and nations.

He rejoined Everton after suffering an injury in 2017, and he ended the year as their top scorer. DC United was his next Major League Soccer team.

He scored 23 goals in 48 games for the American team then startling everyone by joining Derby County in the 2020–21 Championship and moving back to England.

On the grounds, the kids can play on a full-size five-a-side field (!).

While leading DC United, Rooney has been away from his family in the US.

The home features a swimming pool, a movie theater, and a garage for his vehicles.

When this crack in the building surfaced, the £20 million property was branded a “Morrisons mansion.”

It resembled the façade of a grocery shop, according to fans.

The bottom floor has a large movie theater, pool, and Jacuzzi.
