A police officer gave Marcus Rashford a yellow card after he met up with a Manchester United teammate for lunch.
The 26-year-old forward led the team in scoring the previous season with 32 goals in all competitions—the most in his career. He hasn’t been himself this season, though.
Across all competitions this season, he has only managed three goals for the Red Devils, and it appears that his bad luck is continuing off the field.
Rashford went to the Juniper Restaurant in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on Wednesday afternoon to meet Tyrell Malacia, yet another United player.
The English player didn’t realize he had left his £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail racing car parked on double yellow lines outside the business.
But it only took a warden 15 minutes to catch him, and he did so by giving the star’s 205mph car a £60 parking ticket.
When Rashford went back to his car after about an hour, he was in for a bad surprise.
He is not the first or last footballer from Manchester to receive two yellow cards in recent months.
Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, had an amusing interaction with a traffic cop after receiving a parking ticket in August.
