Khedira, who won the World Cup, said that an ex-Arsenal star is the best player he has ever seen.
Through the years, the German has played with some truly great players.
He has played with great players, like Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos at Real Madrid and Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain at Juventus.
Khedira, who is now retired, knows a good player when he sees one, and he has now said what he thinks of a player that Mikel Arteta let go for free a few years ago.
Sami Khedira, a German player for Juventus, celebrates after scoring a goal in the Serie A match between Juventus and Sampdoria.
They paid a club record amount to get Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid in the summer of 2013.
The German might have been the first big name player to sign at the Emirates Stadium, and Arsenal fans were thrilled to have him.
In Ozil’s first season with Arsenal, they won the FA Cup, ending a long run without a title. During his time at the Emirates, he won three more.
Ozil and Khedira have played together a lot of times, both for Real Madrid and the German national team. They played more than one hundred games together.
The player who used to play for Juventus said that Ozil is “the best player” he has ever seen. This is surprising because it means that the Arsenal player is better than Ronaldo, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos.
When Khedira talked to Rio Ferdinand on FIVE, he said, “He was the best player I’ve ever seen.”
“He was the best I’ve ever seen in terms of technique, vision, first touch, movement between the lines, understanding of the game, and how to pass the ball to the strikers.”
Ozil’s stats at Arsenal before Mikel Arteta kicked him out
During his time at Arsenal, Ozil was a player who always caused people to disagree.
When the German had the ball, he was so much fun to watch. Aside from having amazing vision, he could also pick out passes that most people could only dream of.
Ozil played 254 games for Arsenal over the course of seven and a half years and helped score 119 goals across all tournaments, with 44 goals and 75 assists.
He won four FA Cups and two Community Shields at Arsenal, and the fans loved him a lot.
However, Ozil was kicked off the team just a few months after Arteta arrived because of an argument between the two. At that point, his time at Arsenal was over.
He then got out of his deal with Arsenal in January 2021 and could leave the club for free.
