After signing a multi-year extension with Nike in 2021, the reigning fans’ Player of the Year reportedly has his own version of the Nike Air Max Pulse in the works, which has since been confirmed thanks to the appearance of official imagery.

While the latest tooling in the Max Air family will be Rashford’s first official design to be released to the public, the 25-year-old is more than familiar with the Beaverton brand’s air-infused elements – having been gifted a custom Air Max Plus PE designed by LORENZ.OG just last month.

Since the model’s launch this past spring, the Air Max Pulse has been available in well over a dozen colorways. The upper overlay and sole unit are divided between light and dark shades, resulting in a tonal mix of greyscale hues. The latter is connected by a tongue construction made of jet black that extends beyond and matches the inner lining and laces in exact darkness.

Similar to the AM Plus “Marseille,” a vectorized collection of swooping lines claims the ever-so-faint blue top, while occasionally occurring orange accents draw attention to the heel’s swoosh. A blood-red heel with the words “When you believe in yourself, incredible things can happen” that shifts from a neon volt tint is the final splash of color, all thanks to the insoles.
