BLOCKBUSTER DEAL: Arsenal Determined to Secure Victor Osimhen for a Bargain £42 Million as He Seeks Premier League Move to Fulfill His Dream

The Italian publication Calciomercato has speculated that Victor Osimhen, a star player for Napoli, may be available for a low price to Arsenal this summer.

It’s said that the North London squad is focused on strengthening their front line in order to get ready for the new season by adding a new, talented goal scorer. Benjamin Sesko seemed to be their main target, and there were even speculations that they had talks with the player’s agent regarding a potential deal.

However, the Slovenian has decided to remain at RB Leipzig, so the Gunners will need to consider their alternatives. It has been rumoured for a few months that Osimhen would be joining the Emirates Stadium, and they may now attempt to sign him this summer.

A Calciomercato article states that Osimhen’s current contract contains a £127 million release clause. However, Osimhen does not yet have a concrete offer because no team is willing to pay that much to sign him.

The source claims that Napoli has now decided to lower their asking price and is ready to accept a payment of roughly £85 million. Arsenal will be able to sign the Nigerian for £42 million less if they decide to make a move for him in the coming weeks.

Osimhen is open to joining the Premier League this summer, according to the Italian daily; perhaps the Gunners can persuade him to do so.

Arsenal still has to pay a significant amount—roughly £85 million—despite the Azzurri’s decision to lower their asking price. Given that the Premier League club’s purchasing spree has been restrained by the PSR regulation, Mikel Arteta’s squad is unlikely to be able to purchase him for that kind of money.

The Nigerian striker has shown his extraordinary talent in the Italian top flight over the last few years. Due to his speed, strength, agility in the air, and ability to close down plays, he puts up a lot of effort even when he does not have the ball.

Because he possesses the skills necessary to succeed in the Premier League, Arsenal would be quite fortunate to get him. But whether the North London squad chooses to openly declare their interest in signing him will be interesting to watch.
