Coach Thomas Tuchel primarily uses Kimmich as a defensive midfielder. In the meantime, he may play either right back or midfield for the German squad.


Kimmich and Bayern Munich have a deal that runs through 2025. He doesn’t seem prepared to extend his contract with the German football champions.
