After the new Man United home uniform was unveiled on Monday morning, the club’s supporters enthusiastically embraced it on social media.
Photos of the new shirt, which will be worn for all home games and a select few away games for the upcoming 2024–25 season, were shared on social media by the Red Devils and Adidas. The red shirt has Snapdragon, the team’s new front-of-shirt sponsor, and is modeled by vintage Busby Babes jerseys.
It has been revealed that the shirt has been engineered to appear in different hues of red depending on where fans are seated at Old Trafford, in an intriguing twist.
The new kit, modelled by Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho, and Rasmus Hojlund, has gone over well with supporters on social media, with the majority praising the respectful tribute to one of Manchester United’s best teams in history.

Other fans began to shower the clothing with compliments. On X, one United fan remarked, “I love this, I can’t lie,” and another said, “Adidas outdid themselves on this one.”
The 1952 reflective outfits worn by the Busby Babes served as the model for the jersey design. During night games, the jersey’s light-to-dark red gradient will improve visibility under floodlights.
The club captain, Bruno Fernandes, was also observed wearing the new uniform.
In September, Qualcomm Snapdragon, a US technology company, agreed to a £60 million deal with Manchester United, taking over as the team’s front-of-shirt sponsor from Teamviewer.
The club did not publicise the entire details of the agreement, but The Athletic confirmed that Snapdragon will be on United’s playing kit for at least three seasons.
