Erling Haaland made the decision to spend the weekend in St. Tropez basking in the sun during his summer holiday. After his side missed out on qualifying for the 2024 European Championship, the 23-year-old Norwegian football player indulged himself to a vacation in the French town. Haaland was spotted having fun with a ball while lounging on his opulent yacht. He was wearing red and purple shorts. Haaland threw off his trademark blond hair and dove into the water with a splash. He relaxed on the water’s edge after getting out of the water and then took a seat in a chair.

The Norwegian forward, 23,has taken himself on the getaway to the French commune after his team failed to qualify for the Euros 2024.

The 23-year-old Norwegian striker made the decision to take a vacation in a French village following his team’s 2024 European Championship disappointment. Meanwhile, Serbia and England played in the opening encounter of the football tournament in Germany. November brought with it the certainty that the Manchester City player will miss the Euros due to his country’s elimination from contention. This also meant that Haaland has not yet participated in a significant international competition. Haaland missed a qualifier against Scotland because of an ankle ailment.

Since Euro 2000, Norway has not participated in a World Cup or Euros. Switzerland and the Netherlands celebrated qualifying for the forthcoming championship in Germany, while Haaland received dismal news. Haaland stated in a recent interview that he is open to criticism regarding his performance because it spurs him on to pursue a third Golden Boot in a row. With a laugh, he said, “If this season wasn’t good, then whatever.” Though it was a poor season, things can only get better. I get more determined the more people who criticise and despise me.
