HEARTWARMING MOMENTS: Arsenal star Bukayo Saka collaborates with youth charity BigShoe to empower 120 underprivileged children in Nigeria

English football player Bukayo Saka, who plays for Arsenal, has contributed to 120 surgeries that have improved the lives of young people in Nigeria.

The operations treated children with diseases like inguinal hernias or brain tumours in NigeriaSaka, 23, has been called up to Gareth Southgate’s England team and is getting ready for his first World Cup, but that hasn’t prevented him from thinking about other things.

In October, Arsenal and England’s Bukayo Saka contributed to the funding of 120 surgeries in Nigeria.

The winger played a significant part in the medical operations that BigShoe, a youth organisation, performed on the Kano children last month.

The 23-year-old stated, “I feel privileged to be in a position where I can help to make the children’s life easier and better through these surgeries,” in answer to questions regarding the situation.

I remain deeply connected to Nigeria. I would want to express my gratitude to the entire BigShoe team for allowing me to use my skills to make a contribution wherever I can.

Children in Nigeria with conditions such as brain tumours or inguinal hernias were addressed during the surgeries.

In recent months, Real Madrid player Antonio Rudiger teamed with BigShoe, promising to donate all of his World Cup earnings to underprivileged youngsters in Sierra Leone. The outstanding player for Arsenal is not the first to do this.
