WHAT A YAMA BLOW! Fans notice Pedri’s adorable reaction to Lamine Yamal’s ‘miraculous’ goal as Spain defeats France in the Euro 2024 semi-final

An injured star watching from the sidelines was overcome with astonishment by his teammate’s brilliant moment.

Fans were as taken aback by Antonio Pedri’s response as they were by Lamine Yamal’s incredible goal that sealed Spain’s victory.

At the age of 16, Yamal became the youngest goal scorer at the Euros with his long-range equaliser, which helped his team defeat France 2-1 in the semifinals.

And as Pedri joined the Spanish celebrations of his Barcelona teammate’s brilliant moment, spectators saw his stunned countenance on the sidelines.

Spain scored again shortly after, turning a 1-0 deficit into a lead at the half. They then dutifully held on to secure a spot in Sunday’s championship match against either the Netherlands or England.

When Yamal’s thunderbolt struck, Pedri puffed out his cheeks and put his palms to his face, looking wide-eyed.

After Germany’s Toni Kroos gave a strong tackle on midfielder Pedri during the quarterfinal, the player is out for the remainder of the competition.

But he appeared as ecstatic about Yamal’s shout as anybody could.

Furthermore, a viewer asserted: “Pedri’s response to Lamine Yamal’s objective is everyone’s response.”

“Not gonna lie, that was quite the mood,” commented a second user.

Another said, “Yamal is world class and should be in contention for Ballon D’or.”

After eight minutes, Randal Kolo Muani had quickly intervened to put France ahead.

However, halfway through the first half, Yamal beat his man, cut in from the right, and curled a hard left-footed shot into the far top corner.

Spain’s winning goal soon came via a deflected cross-shot by Dani Olmo.

But the memory of Yamal’s amazing intervention stayed with me the longest.

Additionally, Uefa shared on his official X account, writing, “A moment that will last forever.”
