He showed off his toned physique.
Grealish took the summer off after sadly losing out on a spot in Gareth Southgate’s England squad in Germany for the Euros.The former Aston Villa player trained with the 33-man roster before to the competition, but he was left off of the final 26-man selection.But when they take the pitch in Berlin tomorrow, Grealish will lag behind his colleagues by a significant margin.The 28-year-old is making sure he is in top physical shape heading into the new Man City campaign, having struggled to live up to his own high standards the previous season.Despite winning the Premier League trophy, Grealish struggled with form and injuries in the previous season, making just 10 league starts for Pep Guardiola’s squad. The famous winger is making sure he is in top form for the next season by flaunting his toned body in the 26 degree Portuguese heat. Though it was sad not to make Southgate’s squad this summer, there are benefits. The 36-year-old England player has taken a break and focused on his health, but he has also been able to spend more time with his expectant partner, Sasha Attwood.
Grealish continued, saying, “Life’s biggest blessing”.
Grealish and Sasha, who have been together since childhood, started dating when they were young teenagers attending the same Solihull school.
Gareth Southgate has had to rely on other talents to help his team push through to the final because he does not have Grealish in the squad.
And the England manager is anticipated to start with the same starting lineup that he used to win the semi-final tomorrow.
