DAN HIM OVER: English fans furious as they believe Spanish star Dani Olmo should have been sent off for ‘GBH attack’ on Declan Rice

Dani Carvajal has received criticism on social media as well.

Fans of England were incensed as Dani Olmo dodged punishment for clattering Declan Rice.

The midfielder from Spain sent his studs into Rice’s hip after utterly missing the ball.

To no avail, Rice tried to prove his point by raising his shirt to reveal the damage.

“Shouldn’t that be a red card?!?!?” a fan wrote on Facebook. That’s obviously atop Rice’s thigh?

Another person retorted, “That is kind of career ending though literal stamp on Rice.”

“This Dani Olmo tackle on Rice is a clear red card tackle,” a third person said. Inadequate officiating.”

England and Spain each had just one attempt on goal during a tense first half.

The most noteworthy incident, aside from Olmo’s foul, was Dani Carvajal making fun of Bukayo Saka.

After being fouled, the Spanish defender made a gesture indicating that the winger was “whinging”.

Letexier stopped a counterattack and ruled that the Real Madrid player’s challenge on Saka was a foul.

Carvajal rolled his hands near his eyes in an apparent attempt to convey his displeasure with Saka’s response.Cameras captured the action, and the defender’s performance left spectators unimpressed.

Presenter Laura Woods and new Prime Minister Sir Kier Starmer grew close over their shared passion for Arsenal during ITV’s coverage.

When Gary Lineker heard Rio Ferdinand’s strategy to stop Lamine Yamal, he accused him of “child cruelty” on the BBC.
