Following the kit’s April leak, fans were incensed.

ARSENAL and British African heritage brand Labrum London have collaborated to develop an eye-catching new away kit.

The green adidas symbol and the red Gunners logo are emblazoned on the black jersey, which also has the same colors on the collar and shoulders.

“This shirt, which features the classic pan-African hues of black, red, and green, is broken up by a bold white zig-zag pattern created by Labrum London founder Foday Dumbuya. 

“These colours and cultural cues bind together to create a mural of our past and present connection to the African diaspora in London and beyond – championing the rich cultural heritage within the team and across our supporter base.” 
“As a second-generation immigrant growing up in London, I watched some incredible Arsenal players with African heritage,” said Labrum London founder Foday Dumbuya.”
These players not only represented the larger community that I connect with, but they also played the game in a beautiful way, making them incredible role models for me. 
“As Arsenal has such a strong connection to this community, working with them on this design has made me extremely proud,” the player said.A few Gunners supporters were not very fond of the shirt’s new appearance when it was leaked in April.A fan wrote on Twitter, “Replace Addidas immediately.”

A second wrote: “That is f*****g awful man.”

Another said: “So disappointed.”

One more person said, “Big miss.”

Last season, Arsenal came just short of winning the Premier League.

In the upcoming season, they should anticipate another challenge.
