Arsenal fans are angry that ‘it’s time to sell him’ as star Takehiro Tomiyasu’s ‘permanent injury’ is forced to miss pre-season tour

Due to a knee injury, TAKEHIRO TOMIYASU will not be able to go on Arsenal’s pre-season tour of the United States.

It has been announced by the Gunners that the Japanese player will stay in London.

Tomiyasu will get medical care for his injury while the rest of his team goes to the United States.

Kieran Tierney will also not play because he hurt his leg when he came back from his loan spell at Real Sociedad.

Fans are angry about the news, though, and some have even called for Tomiyasu to be sold.

“Are those two just permanently injured?” one supporter wrote on social media.

“Time to sell him, he can not stay fit,” said someone else.

Another fan wrote, “This guy is made of glass.”

Tommy Inui got two calf problems last season, which kept him out of 13 Arsenal games.

Since coming from Bologna in 2021, the 25-year-old has been hurt a lot.

But in March, he signed a new deal that keeps him with the company until 2026, with the chance of one more year.

Last season, Tierney played 26 times while on loan at Real Sociedad. He then played for Scotland at Euro 2024.

This season, the full-back has also had a lot of medical problems, both before and after knee surgery in 2022.

Arsenal has picked a 26-person team to go on a tour of the United States. They will play matches against Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Liverpool.

Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Gabriel Jesus, and Jurrien Timber were all on Mikel Arteta’s team, which had a mix of young and experienced players.

Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel will join the team on July 25 after having already played for their countries this summer.

Also, Declan Rice, Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya, and William Saliba will go back to pre-season training after the tour. They made it to the last few rounds of Euro 2024.
