SCORED AGAIN! England player Ollie Watkins engaged as he shares romantic proposal days after reaching Euros final

Following his success in the Euros 2024, Ollie Watkins of England proposed to his girlfriend Ellie Alderson.

In Lake Como, Italy, Ollie, 28, proposed on one knee and shared breathtaking pictures from the Mandarin Oriental hotel.

On a balcony with a view of the lake and the alps, the Three Lions ace gave Ellie a stunning diamond.

In the adorable pictures, they were both dressed in matching white costumes and surrounded by flowers.Ellie’s brother was among the many who quickly praised the couple, writing beneath his post, “So happy for you both!” Many thanks, future brother-in-law!”

Another friend exclaimed, “Go ahead, boy. Mr. Romantic is so much better than the rest of us! I’m eager.”

Having grown up in a quiet Devon market town, Ollie, a striker, is married to interior designer Ellie and has two children: Amara, age two, and Marley, age one.

The duo lives together in Birmingham and has been dating since 2018.She frequently cheers for her partner, goes to football awards ceremonies with him, and frequents Villa Park.

The substitute’s last-minute goal gave the Three Lions the advantage and guaranteed their spot in the Euro 2024 final.

And in a now-viral video, England manager Gareth Southgate appeared to be overindulging in his celebration of Ollie’s victory.Ollie’s mother Delsi-May described him as a “late developer”.

Born in Torquay, Devon in December 1995, Ollie’s parents, Steven and Delsi-May, divorced when he was a little child.

He grew up in Newton Abbot, a tiny market town on the edge of Dartmoor.

Sould singer Delsi-May raised Ollie, his brothers Richie, Dale, and Jordan, and his sister Charlotte alone.

She frequently brought the kids to her performances.

Ollie remarked, “When I was younger, my brother and I used to go to her performances.” She had previously worked aboard cruise ships, which is why she was gone. Me singing? I believe I let the family down by saying that, but one thing I inherited from my mother was her excellent taste in music.

“I like that stuff; my mom listened to Whitney Houston, my dad listened to Frank Sinatra, and the blues and soul.”

At the age of nine, Ollie had been turned down for a spot at Exeter City’s academy, but a year later, he passed.

That meant that Delsi-May would have to balance her job with traveling forty miles one way for his football practice.

During rush hour, she stated, “I had to bomb it over to the school, bring them back, get them something to eat, get them in the car, and bomb it over to Exeter.”

After that, I had to make sure I returned in time to start working.

Matt Jay, a close friend of Ollie’s who attends Exeter City’s academy as well as South Dartmoor Community College, remembers when his former comrade didn’t originally pass.

Matt, a midfielder for Colchester United in League Two, stated: “I started with Exeter at the under-nine level.”

“I believe the tale is that Ollie returned the next year, but didn’t make it that year.

He obviously had something, but everyone develops differently.

Technical prowess was the focus of Exeter Academy.

Ollie wasn’t the best player there, to be sure, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t blessed with that.

“He was very fast but he was a late developer.”

It comes after Ollie’s teammate and winger Jarrod Bowen also proposed to girlfriend Dani Dyer on holiday over the weekend.
