Fans love Manchester United’s new away kit, which was just released.
Stars like Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka wore the blue shirt. Wan-Bissaka is one of seven aces who are being cut.
For United, Alejandro Garnacho is one of their biggest stars.
Is Aaron Wan-Bissaka going to play a game in that kit?
Luke Shaw seems to like the style.
And fans were thrilled when they found out on social media.
Someone said, “It’s unbelievably hopeful that AWB will stay.”
“It’s a banger,” said someone else.
“Absolutely beautiful,” said a third.
“This one is too fine,” said the fourth.
The 24/25 away shirt from Manchester United was designed by adidas and is based on the team’s kits from the 1990s. It has an all-over pattern built around a custom “M” design that references popular shirts from that time.
The design is a sublimated all-over pattern built around a custom letter “M.” This is a clear nod to the city where the club is based.
The royal blue, textural element – applied as a series of repeated circular patterns atop a navy-blue base – is an homage to the 3D monograms frequently seen on Manchester United kits from 30 years ago.
The design also pays tribute to the three rivers that flow through Manchester – the Irk, Medlock and Irwell – which hold special significance to Manchester United as the crossing point where the Theatre of Dreams meets the city. Three lighter shades of blue run through the polo club collar, connecting fans and players to the club’s home, while playing in away colours.
An adidas statement revealed: “With a bold design that nods to football culture, this adidas Manchester United jersey looks equally at home on and off the pitch.
“Silver details pop against an indigo base that also includes a subtle, repeating ‘M’ monogram.
“The light blue graphic on that stylish polo collar pays tribute to the river on which Old Trafford sits.
“Ventilating HEAT.RDY ensures this long sleeve authentic shirt is ready for big away performances.”
