Legends from the Shrek series met with players from Monday’s Premier League champions, including Manchester City’s Jack Grealish and superstar Erling Haaland.

Pep Guardiola’s side is currently travelling south down the east coast of the nation after spending several days in New York City, where they played their second preseason game of their 2024 US trip.

In a thrilling match against the Serie A powerhouse AC Milan, Manchester City’s stars were given even more crucial playing time; yet, they fell by a narrow margin of 2-3 at the historic Yankee Stadium in the city’s north.

Two goals from James McAtee and Erling Haaland took Manchester City to within two goals of victory, but Guardiola’s squad would still need to win before the 2024–2025 season started because of the Italian team’s ferocious reaction.

City will play two more friendly in the USA this summer. They will play Premier League opponents first, then travel to Camping World Stadium in Orlando to take on La Liga giants FC Barcelona, a former squad of boss Pep Guardiola. Columbus, Ohio, is Chelsea’s host city.
