Carlo Ancelotti says that Jude Bellingham’s situation at Real Madrid will not change even though Kylian Mbappe has become their new star player. He also says that he doesn’t agree with those who said Bellingham didn’t do well for England at the Euros.
Before his team plays Chelsea at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, Ancelotti talked to English-language reporters in the United States.
Ancelotti said, “Nothing changes for him” when asked how Bellingham’s job will change with Mbappe. There’s no change. He really shocked everyone in the first season by showing what a great guy he was. It won’t be different next season.
“He’s going to be one of our best players and help the team a lot with his strengths.” If you ask me, I think Bellingham played great at the Euros. England did a great job; they made it to the final and almost won it.
Real Madrid has a busy 2024–25 season that starts with this preseason trip to the US and ends with the Club World Cup next summer back in Spain. Ancelotti, on the other hand, said he wasn’t worried about the long season.
Chelsea also has a long season ahead of them, and Ancelotti, who won the Premier League and FA Cup with Chelsea from 2009 to 2011, told the new owners of the club that they should be patient with Enzo Maresca.
He said of Chelsea, “It’s changed a lot.” ‘They put a lot of money in. They have a good team with young, good players. Their boss is young. The owners need to be a little more flexible so that they can learn and grow.
Ancelotti has also said that they will not be making a move for Kepa Arrizabalaga, the Chelsea custodian who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid and is now back in London looking for a new team.
Ancelotti said, “In that spot, we’re covered.” “Kepa played great last year.” He was with us. It was great to have him here, but I don’t know what will happen this season. We love him. We love him.
