Premier League celebrities walked the red carpet on Tuesday in advance of the Professional Footballers Association’s annual award ceremony.
Players from Manchester City and Arsenal came in hoping to win some of the most coveted individual awards in the game after pushing their title match to the very end last season.
The event was presented by Jules Breach and Alex Scott and took place in Manchester’s iconic Opera House venue.
Erling Haaland went into the game as one of the favourites to win PFA Players’ Player of the Year after capping up an incredible debut campaign with another productive campaign at the Etihad.
The football player Isabel Haugseng Johansen, the striker’s partner, accompanied him on the red carpet as he dressed in a black suit for the occasion.

Haaland’s city teammate Phil Foden, who provided the team’s main creative outlet as they won a record-tying fourth top flight title in a row, ultimately defeated him for the title.
By winning the championship trophy, Foden became one of the few players who have won it after winning Young Player of the Year in both the 2020–21 and 2021–22 seasons.
The 24-year-old’s incredible efforts have already earned him the Premier League Player of the Season and Footballer of the Year awards from the Football Writers’ Association, so this prize adds even more credit to his accolades.
Ollie Watkins, Cole Palmer, Martin Odegaard, and Rodri were all on the shortlist for the award.
Palmer won the PFA Young Player of the Year award following his amazing season as a breakout player at Chelsea, as he scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in the Premier League.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team did not win the Premier League for the first time in twenty years, but they did have a strong presence in the PFA Team of the Year.
The starting XI included Declan Rice, Gabriel, William Salbia, David Raya, and Martin Odegaard, the captain of the Gunners.
City players Kyle Walker, Rodri, Foden, and Haaland joined them in the squad, while Virgil van Dijk of Liverpool and Watkins of Aston Villa completed the group.
