Former Man City star Sergio Aguero rocks a Man City outfit at the Abu Dhabi GP paddock… proudly displaying the club’s Etihad Airways sponsor at the F1 season finale home race

Wearing a Manchester City outfit, Sergio Aguero waltzed through the Abu Dhabi GP paddock, reminding fans of his legendary football career.

The former City striker strolled around the Formula One nerve hub wearing a bespoke racing outfit that included white trousers and a light blue colour similar to his Man City kit.

His jersey was emblazoned with his old City number, 10, which will bring back many memories for the club’s supporters.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is held in close proximity to Etihad Airways’ headquarters, which sponsors City, thus it was no accident that Aguero’s chest bore their name.

He is well-known for being an F1 fan, so maybe if he had made a living off of the sport, he wouldn’t have been so terrible.

The former football player visited the backstage areas and posed for pictures with the fans.

While using an F1 simulator in 2012, he finished 1.5 seconds slower than Nico Rosberg’s Monza time and left other Premier League players in the dust.

He has already visited and participated in other races as well as Esports competitions.

Due to a cardiac ailment, the 33-year-old Argentinean announced his retirement from football in December 2021 while sobbing.

Shortly after arriving in Barcelona, he was unable to play with his close friend Lionel Messi because Messi went to PSG that same summer.

His most well-known achievements occurred in Manchester, where he played for ten seasons, amassed five Premier League trophies, and scored 260 goals.

Before that, he played in his native country for Independiente and established himself at Atletico Madrid in Europe.

The 22nd race of the season, the Abu Dhabi GP, brings an extraordinarily long 2023 schedule to a close.

In the unlikely event that Mercedes loses, it would cap off an exceptionally unusual season in which Max Verstappen won the race and Red Bull easily won the Constructors’ Championship.
