Fabio Vieira will be a loan player for FC Porto for the 2024–25 season.

The 24-year-old joined us in June 2022 and comes from a Portuguese squad. In all categories, he has since participated 49 times.

The adaptable midfielder joined us in September 2022 as a substitution during our away Premier League match against Manchester United. He was developed through Porto’s youth department. In a 3-0 victory away at Brentford in the following league match, Fabio scored his first goal right away. It was a striking to remember.

In the opening match of the 2023 season, Fabio assisted us in winning the FA Community Shield, our first trophy of the year, against Manchester City. At Wembley Stadium, he scored the goal that guaranteed our 4-1 victory.

Fabio represented Portugal when he was younger, playing in 25 matches and scoring 14 goals for the under-21 squad. Additionally, he participated in every match Portugal played in route to the 2019 U19 European Championship championship final, where they finished in second place.

We’re hoping Fabio has a smooth loan experience at Porto this year.

The loan agreement won’t proceed until a few legal procedures are completed.
