HEARTWARMING MAN: Arsenal midfielder and former Hammers star Declan Rice donates £5,000 to GoFundMe campaign for 14-year-old West Ham goalkeeper fighting cancer

Declan Rice contributed £5,000 to a West Ham Under-15 goalkeeper’s GoFundMe page in support of the player’s cancer fight.

Rice, a former member of the Hammers development team, played 245 senior games for West Ham prior to joining Arsenal in July 2023.

Oscar Fairs, 14, has been a member of West Ham since he was nine years old. Last year, a rare brain cancer was discovered on him.

According to Rising Ballers, Fairs is a West Ham season ticket supporter who hopes to break into the starting line-up.

To date, more than £60,000 has been raised, with a goal of £100,000 being reached.

Fairs’s family and the French oncologist are scheduled to meet this Friday to talk about his treatment plan.
