NIGHTMARE: Neville and Carragher pointed out SERIOUS mistake that Man Utd star made paving the way for two Liverpool goals

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has come under fire from Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher for his part in Liverpool’s opening two goals at Old Trafford on Sunday.

After an end-to-end opening to the match between the two biggest rivals in English football on Sunday, Luis Diaz opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a header at the far post from a cross by Mohamed Salah.

Casemiro made a terrible misplayed pass that allowed Ryan Gravenberch to score for Liverpool’s breakaway. The Reds moved forward quickly thanks to the Dutchman’s feeding of Salah, who then set up Diaz.

Casemiro’s error occurred within minutes after he infuriated the Man Utd supporters by mishandling the ball twice in rapid succession in hazardous locations.

Casemiro loses a pass, and Neville gets mad at him.

Commentator Neville of Sky Sports was clear on who was to blame for Man Utd’s deficit after analysing the goal.

“Casemiro, the number of times he gives the ball away in poor areas, for a player with such experience,” Neville remarked.

This is his first attempt at a pass, and he is not under any pressure. Although Liverpool has made errors in some areas, Mo Salah is a class act, and the cross tastes great.

In a few seven minutes, Casemiro’s horror intensified as Diaz caught him in possession. Salah then found him inside the box once more, making the score 2-0.

“Diaz goals, two mistakes from Casemiro,” Carragher remarked.

“If you’re going to win at Old Trafford when you smell blood, you have got to go for it,” Neville stated in reaction to Casemiro flailing his arms in the air in an attempt to get a free kick.

“There was never a foul when Casemiro was shoved off the ball. Liverpool has now switched to Manchester United’s back four.

Neville continued, “I would go as far as saying Casemiro has lost his confidence a bit,” just before the halftime whistle blew.
