Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks played a pre-season friendly game against Real Madrid Basket last night. Doncic had been with Real Madrid Basket since he was 13 years old before going to the NBA.
When the Slovenian ball defender went back to his old home, he was greeted with a lot of love. There were about 13,000 Madrid fans at the building to see Doncic play his old team.
Head of State Florentino Perez went to the field before the game to give Doncic a special Real Madrid membership badge.
This is a very important day, and I don’t know what else to say. Doncic said, “I’ve been looking forward to this game all summer.” “I got to see old teammates, people who were with me a long time ago.” Thanks for everything!”
Toni Kroos, Lucas Vazquez, Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Dani Ceballos, and Brahim Diaz were among the Real Madrid men’s soccer players who did not join the national team. They were all at Wizink Arena to watch the game.
Because his hip hurt after a recent practice, the 1999-born player wasn’t in the best shape and could only play for five minutes. He got nine points. Real Madrid Basket beat the Dallas Mavericks in the end by a score of 123–127.
