Paris Saint-Germain was one of the teams that wanted to sign Nico Williams, the best player at Athletic Club. But after Athletic won UEFA Euro 2024, Williams decided to stay with them instead of taking offers from other teams.

Williams caught the attention of top teams this summer, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Spurs, Barcelona, and PSG. There is now, however, another possible player in the game.

Real Madrid also wants Williams to help their attack if Vinícius Jr. leaves the Spanish team next summer, according to SPORT (h/t Le10Sport). This means that the Spanish star player might play with Kylian Mbappé next summer.

Paris Saint-Germain may have to compete with Real Madrid and other teams interested in the UEFA Euro 2024 winner again if they want to sign him.

Williams had a great 2023–24 season for Athletic Club. He played in 37 games across all categories. Several sides were interested in him after he was so important to Spain’s win at the UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany.

The player still wants to play in the UEFA Europa League this season with the team his brother played for as a child. We’ll have to wait and see how this season goes and if his worth stays this high.
