And one of the most unique ones is situated on the left leg of the centre-back.
In it, the England international is seen as a little child gazing at Barnsley’s Oakwell Stadium, which has Wembley in the background.
The Barnsley native has always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and representing both his country and his hometown team.
The defender chose to get that tattoo as a permanent reminder that “dreams do come true” after realising both of his childhood ambitions.
A year prior, Stones said on the FA Cup’s official YouTube channel: “It was kind of me staring at Barnsley Stadium with Wembley in the background, which is obviously for England.
“I never believed I would accomplish that, but that was kind of a dream of mine.
“And then obviously they both happened so I decided to get that on me and remind me that my dreams do come true and to keep striving more and more.”
Stones has a photograph of Barnsley icon Norman Rimmington proudly displayed on his left thigh, further testament to his affection for the club.
However, not every tattoo turned out to be beneficial; following their breakup in 2019, he had to remove a picture of his ex-girlfriend Millie Savage from his arm.
Stones has won an incredible 15 major awards with City in the Premier League, including the 2023 Treble, so he still gets to live out the meaning of the childhood dream tattoo.
And the ex-Everton star will be in action for England, where he has played in two Euros finals, in the Nations League against Ireland and Finland.
