‘CLASS is FOREVER’: Man Utd star Bruno Fernandes became the only light in clash between Portugal vs Scotland with 6 Key Passes, 100%Tackles

Brazil’s Bruno Fernandes, a captain of Manchester United, scored the equaliser as Portugal overcame a 2-1 deficit to defeat Scotland in Estádio da Luz in Lisbon.

In their second Nations League group match, Portugal was behind 1-0 after just seven minutes of play due to a header from former United player Scott McTominay.

Portugal increased the stakes in an effort to draw even, but the Tartan Army’s staunch defence mainly stopped them.

Nine minutes into the half, Fernandes produced a brilliant moment when he struck the ball into the bottom corner with his first attempt from outside the area. Although Angus Gunn attempted to stop the outstanding effort from the United captain, he was unable.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who entered the game off the bench at halftime, had different intentions. It appeared that both teams would have to settle for a share of the points. In the last moments of the game, the Red Devils icon broke the hearts of Scotland supporters by tapping in the ball from close range to give the Selecao the lead.

Fernandes played the entire game and amassed 98 ball touches throughout that period. With 56 of the 64 passes he attempted finding his fellow countrymen, he achieved an individual pass accuracy of 88%. He completed six crucial passes.

The playmaker for United attempted to connect on four long balls and fourteen crosses. With just one cross and all four of his long balls pinging, he was able to locate his targeted target.

Fernandes made two excellent opportunities.

In addition to the goal he scored, he had another effort on goal that needed Gunn to stop right away.

Today is Fernandes’ 29th birthday. He started three dribbles and finished two of them. He engaged in thirteen ground fights and won eight of them.

The player had to participate in one aerial challenge, which he lost.

He made four tackles and was called for two fouls.

Diogo Dalot, a colleague of Fernandes’ at United, entered the game late and won the lone ground battle he participated in. He also touched the ball eighteen times during his brief appearance. Two of the eighteen passes he completed were crucial ones.
