Luka Modrić, a star player for Real Madrid, had a historic night on the world stage on Sunday.

In Europe, this puts him tied for second place with Sergio Ramos of Spain for the most caps ever, who used to play with Blancos and is a close friend.

Now, Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player on the list who has played more games for Portugal than Modrić. He has done so an amazing 213 times.
