Ederson, the custodian for Man City, provided assistance against Brentford in the Premier League.

After the Brazilian passed the ball down the field, Erling Haaland scored his second goal of the game, giving City a 2-1 lead.

Ederson made history by becoming the first goalie to assist during the 2024–2025 Premier League season.

In addition, it was his fourth assist overall in the Premier League, tying him for the second-most assists by a goalie in Premier League history with David Seaman and Pepe Reina. With five assists, Paul Robinson is the only player above them.
