After a disappointing draw, the City forward was not in the mood to be kind.

At the Etihad, Haaland and his City teammates faced a tough Inter defence and came up empty-handed.

The prolific striker was hoping to score in City colours for his 100th goal.

The Milan custodian Yann Sommer held off the Premier League winners with a series of excellent saves.

As Alessandro Bastoni, Acerbi’s defensive partner, doubled up to assist contain the prolific Norwegian goal scorer.

At the last whistle, the 36-year-old veteran headed straight for an irate Haaland.

After shaking hands, they launched into a lively conversation.

Both players tugged at each other’s tops as they seemed to discuss switching jerseys.

Acerbi was spotted indicating that he intended to bring more than one memento back to Milan by holding up two fingers.

Many believed that Haaland was mouthing the words “Two?! “incredulously in his direction. F*** off!”

TNT Sport cameras captured the amicable conversation, during which the striker’s impersonated outburst caused both players to bust out laughing.

On X, someone chuckled and said, “That was the highlight of the match.”

“Did Acarbi just ask Haaland for two of his shirts and Haaland told him to f*** off?” another person wrote. LMFAOOO.

“36-year-old Acerbi has pocketed Haaland bro damn,” exclaimed a third.

One more person said, “Haaland could not pass the Acerbi test AGAIN.”

Kevin De Bruyne’s halftime carry off with a suspected injury was concerning for City.

The Belgian was able to play till the whistle even though he arrived late in the first half.

Ilkay Gundogan took his place during halftime, and he is now questionable for Sunday’s matchup with Arsenal.

William Gallas, the former centre defender for the Gunners, acknowledged earlier this week that he is terrified of seeing Haaland in his present form against his old team.

This is a man who is in beast mode, Gallas declared.

“It appears that he will smash every Premier League scoring record this year.

“It’s impossible to predict how many he will get but you can say with confidence it will be loads.”
