Launch of the documentary series ‘Courtois, the return of number 1’

The first screening of ‘Courtois, la vuelta del número 1’, a documentary series following the Real Madrid goalkeeper’s recuperation from two major knee injuries sustained in the previous season, took place in the VIP box at the Santiago Bernabéu. Emilio Butragueño, the Director of Institutional Relations at Real Madrid, and a few of Courtois’s teammates also attended the ceremony.

The four-episode series will be accessible on Prime Video starting on September 20. On August 10, 2023, Courtois sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. After that, he started his recuperation, which was cut short on March 19 when he sustained an inner meniscus tear in his right knee.
