A FOOTBALL PLAYER Jack Grealish, who considers himself a trendsetter, has been crowned Manchester City’s worst dressed player.
The 28-year-old Winger Grealish previously claimed that his teammate Rodri had the most offensive clobber, calling it “awful”.5Jack Grealish has been named Manchester City’s worst dressed player
But the tables were turned on the England star when the Spanish midfielder said in an interview that he thought Grealish was the team’s worst-dressed player. Grealish posted the footage on his Instagram page along with an emoji depicting shock. Rodri, 27, is asked who on the team has the worst clothing during the interview. He answers, “They say it’s me, but I don’t agree.” Jack, in my opinion, is the guilty party.
When the same question was put to Grealish back in May, he said, “Rodri,” He’s awful. Absurd That comes after Brummie Grealish and Gucci signed a £10 million sponsorship deal. He also signed a £10 million contract, good through 2028, to represent the sportswear brand Puma. According to Johan Adamsson, global director of sports marketing and licensing for Puma, “His quick feet and personal style turn heads both on and off the pitch.”
Grealish received a six-figure payment in addition for a clothing partnership with BoohooMAN.
Brands are vying for a piece of the athlete, who has been nicknamed “the most marketable footballer since David Beckham” and has an Instagram fan page devoted to his looks.
Brand marketing expert Andy Barr said: “One of the reasons why organisations are queueing up to try and work with Grealish is because he does not yet realise that he is more than just an elite level sports person, he is actually now a global brand.”
Grealish, who is rumoured to make £300,000 a week at Manchester City, made history as the most expensive football player in Britain when he signed a £100 million contract to leave Aston Villa.
