‘STAR BOY COMING’: Bukayo Saka on course to break unprecedented Premier League record in Arsenal’s clash with Leicester

When Arsenal and Leicester City meet on Saturday, BUKAYO SAKA has a chance to break an existing Premier League record.

The 23-year-old has been fantastic for the Gunners this season, contributing to six goals in five league games.

Last Saturday, in a Premier League match against Manchester City, he joined Arsenal great Thierry Henry as the only players in league history to record five assists in the opening five games of a season.

He has already set a new record for most assists in a season with five, but he has a chance to break it this weekend.

Given that Arsenal has not lost against Leicester in four years, Saka may be confident in his prospects when the Gunners host the Foxes on Saturday.

Leicester manager Steve Cooper said in his pregame press conference that Arsenal will be their “toughest” opponent thus far.

“They are a fantastic squad that has been performing admirably for several years,” he remarked. For prizes, they have been contending.

“The opponent we’re facing is going to be really difficult. You need to be brave and not be afraid to fail at these games.

We intend to support ourselves in that way. I think we should just do it.

No Premier League victory has been claimed by Leicester thus far this season.

With three points after five games, the Foxes are in fifteenth place in the league.

At the same time, Arsenal have not lost a single game.

After three victories and two draws, the Gunners have 11 points, good for fourth place.

On Wednesday, they beat Bolton 5-1 to go to the Carabao Cup quarterfinals.
