There are a lot of top European teams interested in Franco Mastantuono, a player from River Plate. Even though there was interest, the 17-year-old didn’t make a move this summer.

The Argentine club doesn’t seem to be willing to lower its price for the young star because he is in high demand. Mastantuono has a deal with River Plate until 2026, so they don’t have to sell right away if no one pays what they want.

Mastantuono has played 30 times for the South American team in all events, scoring three goals and setting up two others. According to Defensa Central (via Foot01), Real Madrid is still open to other teams that want to sign Mastantuono this winter.

The Argentine club rates the attacking midfielder at around €45 million, so the Merengue don’t want to spend a lot of money.

This price is too high for Real Madrid, especially since teams like Paris Saint-Germain, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea are also interested and are likely to make the bids even higher.

The player plans to stay focused for now and keep improving at the top level. He’ll have plenty of chances to move up in his career no matter what, and PSG under Luis Enrique is a good choice for him and his agents.
