‘I’m really disappointed and sad’: Aaron Ramsdale clearly feels Arsenal made to send unwanted transfer message

Aaron Ramsdale, a former star player for Arsenal, looked very angry during Southampton’s most recent Premier League loss.

Bournemouth beat Southampton 3-1 at the Vitality Stadium in a Premier League game that aired on Monday Night Football.

Evanilson, Dango Ouattara, and Antoine Semenyo scored goals to give the Cherries a 3-0 lead in the first half. However, Taylor Harwood-Belis, a former Manchester City defender, scored for Southampton in the second half to tie the game.

Evans gave Bournemouth the lead in the 17th minute, and Ramsdale was not happy with the goal.

The home team was given a free kick, which Bournemouth quickly took because they thought Southampton wouldn’t be ready. This let Evanilson get past the Saints defenders and put the ball past the former Arsenal custodian.

There were clear signs that Ramsdale was angry with his Southampton teammates after the goal. As of now, the Saints are 19th in the Premier League, and Ramsdale has given up 10 goals in his four league games since leaving Arsenal.

Last month, Ramsdale left Arsenal in a deal worth £18 million. As part of the deal with Southampton, the Gunners added extras that could bring the total cost to £25 million.

As part of the agreed-upon add-ons, football.london has learnt that Arsenal will get an extra £1 million if Southampton avoids relegation. However, the Saints have only earned one point from their six Premier League games so far this season and have scored three goals.

Southampton still needs to win 32 games to stay in the Premier League for another season. Arsenal will want the Saints to reach their goal so that they can get extra money from the deal that let Ramsdale leave the Emirates Stadium during the summer transfer window.

However, it looks like Arsenal won’t be getting the money from that clause if Southampton can’t get better. This is a bad sign for Mikel Arteta and Edu’s move.
