At the end of Real Madrid’s 2-0 win over Villarreal, defender Dani Carvajal was carried off in pain.

With their win over the Yellow Submarine, Los Blancos extended their undefeated streak in La Liga. However, since the game, all eyes have been on Carvajal.

In extra time, the experienced full back fell to the ground after colliding with Yeremy Pino, and there was immediate worry.

Film from inside the stadium shows Carvajal’s moment of awareness. He is clearly in pain and has a lot of worry about how bad his knee injury is.

Lucas Vazquez, another Real Madrid player, tried to comfort Carvajal as the medical staff rushed onto the pitch.
