Arsenal plot raid to sign £50 MILLION South American star as Arteta looks to revamp key area

According to the Spanish publication Fichajes, Arsenal is apparently thinking about making a move to capture Ederson, a top player for Atalanta.

Following two seasons in which they came just short of capturing the Premier League title, the Gunners have begun the new campaign with great promise and have been exhibiting indications that they could make yet another title challenge this year.Ederson: Atalanta's rising star and potential Koopmeiners successor - FootItalia.com

Over the past few years, Thomas Partey has been a crucial member of Mikel Arteta’s team, and he has performed admirably so far this season. The Ghanaian’s future at Emirates Stadium is presently unclear, though, as his current deal is set to expire in less than nine months.

In addition, Jorginho might leave Arteta’s team as a free agent at the end of current year. In order to replace the two, it appears Arsenal is considering their alternatives in the transfer market for fresh midfield players.

Arsenal intends to revitalize their team and inject more energy into the engine room, per the Fichajes report. Thus, they have expressed interest in signing Ederson, and they may take more decisive action the following year.

La Dea is not in a hurry to sell the 25-year-old, and they require at least £50 million in exchange for allowing him to leave the team. He still has more than 2.5 years left on his current contract.Man City tìm xong người thay thế hoàn hảo Ederson Moraes

The South American is reportedly the target of Liverpool and Manchester City as well, according to the Spanish source, so it won’t be easy for the North London team to entice him to the Emirates Stadium.

The midfield player has been playing quite well lately. He was instrumental in La Dea’s Europa League victory the previous season, and he’s off to a fantastic start this time around as well.

Although his natural position is holding midfielder, he can also play box-to-box. In addition to being technically sound, he can dribble past opponent players in confined spaces, contributes effectively on defense, and has good game reading skills.

The Brazilian has all the qualities needed to succeed in the Premier League. It will be intriguing to see, though, if the North London team decides to take more decisive action to get his signature.
