SPECIAL ONE: Arsenal legend urges fans to back £256,000-a-week star ‘better than Havertz’

Gabriel Jesus started his first Premier League game of the season for Arsenal last weekend in their 3-1 win over Southampton.

All three points were won thanks to goals from Kai Havertz, Bukayo Saka, and Martinelli. After the first half, the Saints caught everyone by surprise and took the lead. But Arsenal came back and won the game.

No shots were on goal for Gabriel Jesus, and he only made nine passes all game before being taken off in the 60th minute for Leandro Trossard.

Jesus and Raheem Sterling started the game, and Mikel Arteta said he was impressed with how well they played even though they hadn’t played much so far this season.

“We did what we needed to do.” Everyone has a right to play, and the score could have been very different in the first half.

“After that, we decided to change because the energy needed to change. We added three players who can do that, and they helped a lot, but I’m happy with everyone.”

Fans of Ian Wright are asked to wait for Gabriel Jesus.The forward who used to play for Manchester City hasn’t scored for Arsenal yet this season. A lot of Arsenal fans have been worried that they haven’t been able to depend on the Brazilian this past year.

Ian Wright defended Jesus on his show and asked fans to be patient:

“May I say something about Gabriel Jesus? I need to say something to help him right now,”

“I really, really do.” I know some people think we’ve passed him, but remember that when Gabby came along, he brought us all to the same level.

“Arsenal are at a certain level right now, but we will need him at some point, so I think it’s important for Arsenal fans to back him right now.”

“They need to back him up.” His play isn’t bad, so don’t get mad at him. He’s trying so hard right now, and we’ll need him.

It’s important to believe in him because he’s won the Premier League four times. He has been clutch many times before.

“Hearing the whispers and the way the fans are…” “Man, please back this guy up and stick with him.”

“He really, really wants to do well, but it’s not happening right now. He needs help,” she said.

Gabriel Jesus was not called up to the Brazil team for this break from the rest of the world.
